5-aside Football

After suffering cramp from mountain biking i decided to get right into it by getting myself into tiptop condition, so we all signed up for 5-aside football, (they call it soccer here, bloody Amreicans) anyway, New Zealand is probably one of the best places to play 5-aside soccer as it has some of the flatest indoor pitches in the world lol! also the kiwis dont no how to kick a ball and are poor at this beautiful game (pele said that) it was truly exhilarating! but as you can see i was not in exhilarating shape myself as i suffered another mother of all cramps! (but no photo this time) We lost 21-0 in our first game though, (What!) methinks shrek is not a goalkeeper!

Mountain Biking in New Zealand

After an unhealthy lifestyle of eating and drinking for the last four months in Wellington i decided to get a bit fitter by going mountain biking, New Zealand is probably one of the best places to go mountain biking as it has some of the best tracks and breathtaking views in the world and it was truly exhilarating! but as you can see i was not in exhilarating shape myself as i suffered with the mother of all cramps! This is what its all about folks the adventure of travelling! Happy days

Christmas Day with Shrek!

Here we are folks on Christmas day in Wellington and as you can see we are all sitting around the table enjoying christmas! it was a great day with a fullfilling meal and plenty of drinks!! Methinks Shrek is a Alcoholic though!

Wellington (The Windy City)

Ok guys and gals here i am back in Wellington, the capital of New Zealand also known as the Windy city! (and let me tell you its always windy here!!) its nestled between a sparkling harbour and rolling green hills! Wellington offers a chick city experience in a stunning natural setting, ive spent a good part of my time here in this vibrant city! working and going out visiting 300 cafes, bars and clubs!, this city is a party place for sure, Courtney place is the citys famous entertainment district, A beautiful city and is an incredibly compact city! ive been working in Welly since October and spent Christmas and New Year here, Some amazing and somtimes blurry times. Coogee Bay & Manly Beach

Hey dudes, after the disappointment of the cricket we all decided to head of down to the beach and join the rest of the english barmy army who couldn't be bothered to watch the last day of the Ashes, so here we are just chilling before i head back to work in Wellington NZ! It was great times here in Sydney being with both my brothers, even though we lost 5-0 to the Aussie's!! get over it Rob! Who are we!

The Ashes

Well here i am at the SCG Stadium in Sydney Australia for the Ashes!, I was looking forward to this day ever since i realised i had tickets for this great sporting event!! At this point we were trailing 4-0 down (as you were already aware of in my previous comments!) what happened to England i hear you say? I got to hand it to the Australians though they showed real fight and a bulldog spirit that you would normally expect from an England side in the days of old, (we have gone soft as a sporting nation methinks!) i was speaking to an elderly gentlemen (in he's 80's im kidding you not) from our great nation who saved long and hard to tour Australia for the Ashes, he was really disappointed with the way England played, he told me in his day they used to appoint a captain who could not bat, bowl or field mainly, but could lead! "a leader is a winner" he said "no matter what"! never the less i had a great time watching the cricket and to be there to witness Shane Warne and Glenn Magrath finally end their cricket careers, they were true legends of the game though even if their were Australians!!!!, One highlight of the trip was to stay at the Hilton hotel, just check out the size of the bath, it was good times for sure here as i had my brothers out there as well enjoying the true magic of Sydney! Great times for sure chaps!!!
